Board of Directors

The Golden Gate Kindergarten Association is a non-profit corporation run by a Board of Directors. Our Board is composed of parents and professional, business, and education leaders in our community.

The Board administers school policies and maintains licensing standards established by the California State Department of Social Services. The Executive Director of the preschool and the GGKA implements the policies established by the Board of Directors.

The Rhoda Kellogg Children’s Art Collection

The Golden Gate Kindergarten Association includes the Rhoda Kellogg Children’s Art Collection, one of the largest and most comprehensive children’s art collections in the world.

This collection resided in our building in San Francisco until last year. In November 2003, we turned over the Rhoda Kellogg Collection to PapaInk, a non-profit based in Connecticut.

PapaInk plans to digitize and archive the collection, which contains more than 500,000 images. It will then be available online to those interested in art and early childhood education.
